TRADE DISPLAYS & PROTOTYPING
Our understanding of materials, process and the market place provide us the expertise to design and prototype new retail mesquite product for ourselves as well as other mesquite processors. We also design and produce award-winning mesquite related trade displays for the flooring industry, furniture manufacturers and material suppliers.
Being on the leading edge of any industry requires innovation and a certain amount of openness to competition. We pride ourselves in keeping the doors open to what appears to be competition in the mesquite business.
Our philosophy maintains that consumer education is required in order to turn destructive mesquite eradication attitudes into mesquite management programs. And as the ultimate momentum of this turn in attitude comes from the end-user, it will take the combined efforts of all mesquite producers, who are still small in numbers, to reach them. We believe firmly in the need for wide reaching consumer information and will do everything in our power to serve and support other mesquite producers for the common good.

Our sample shop produced the design for a dining table that sold through Crate & Barrel for almost four years. We have run samples and explored product feasibility for other major retailers such as Ralph Lauren and Neiman Marcus. Our flooring point of sale samples, produced for a major distributor, are in dozens of material supply houses throughout the country.

SAMPLE BOARDS
We take great pride in producing a sample board that helps to depict mesquite in its finished and aged condition. It's our opinion that samples should inspire the creative process for which mesquite is being considered. We therefore strongly recommend presenting our material in as large a sample as is affordable. The San Pedro Mesquite Company provides oxidized samples in three sizes to help depict the aged appearance of its plank flooring. We will not provide raw plank samples without the accompaniment of oxidized samples. Sample boards are effective and necessary marketing tools that cost all of us at one point or another. We invoice for sample material in the amounts listed below and welcome our samples to be returned if a customer is not satisfied. We are available to make boards to your specifications to accomodate sample racks already in use. We also provide custom point of sale packages and would be happy to discuss your individual needs. Some customers purchase a 43-sf bundle of material and fabricate their own sample boards in order to depict various finishes and hand textures available through their individual businesses.
